Resurs-O1-3  MSU-SK

MSU-SK scanner on board Russian Resurs-O1 series satellites provides images of the Earth surface in 4 spectral bands with wavelengths 0.5-0.6,0.6-0.7 and 0.8-0.9 mkm. Spatial resolution of the sensor is about 185x140 m. Due to conical scanning geometry pixel size remains nearly constant over imaging area.

The image on the left presents a part of MSU-E swath (full scan width, scaled 1:12) acquired from Resurs-O1-3 satellite on 11 july 1997. Red box show data fragment covering South Italy and extracted for this CD-ROM. Click on following quicklook for a larger view of this fragment with full resolution.
